http://www.technologijos.lt/upload/image/n/mokslas/istorija_ir_archeologija/S-11989/nuotrauka-25293/kalba-zemel.jpg . The blue line marks territory where Baltic hydronims are abundant. In the territory between the blue and red lines there are few of them. To avoid Slavic migration upstream...
  2. AHC: further expanding Balts

When Veneti became slavified Slavs and Balts already were separate at least according most of hypotheses. Where you get this from? I am interested because I never have met this before. He was successful. It seems he was seeking not to promote christianity, but a martyrdom.
  3. Challenge: Female Soldiers in the 1700's

That more likely would lead to acceptance commoners as officers with later nobilitation. There were for short time the ceremonial company of Amazons in Balaklava. It was formed by the order of prince Potemkin in the time of the trip Katherine II to Crimea.
  4. WI: Lithuania unites Russia

In English it still would be "Lithuania". Latin "Lituania" is from Slavic "Litva", from Lithuanian "Lietuva" there were alternative Latin form "Letua". Those Lithuanian grand duxes that claimed overlordship of all Rus (AFAIK at least Algirdas) did this on the premise that they control Kiev...

  6. Could any other Balts "pull a Lithuania"?

They fought rather successfully Danish and Sweden attempts to conquer, but they were in decline after 11th century. Curonians were Baltic, Livonians were living next to them.
  7. Could any other Balts "pull a Lithuania"?

Too late. At the time Lithuania was already growing in the power. It seems that most Prussian military activity was toward the West. They were under heavy pressure by Poles and Pomeranians. IMO the best chases had Estonians, when Danes and the Sword brothers came they was close to uniting.

  12. East Prussia joins Lithuania

That was situation on beginning of 20th century. Prior 18th century all that territory that had low Lithuanian populace in your map was Lithuanian.

  14. The Deluge ends with Poland-Brandenburg and Sweden-Lithuania

At Ujście on July 1655 They did, but never were elected.
  15. The Deluge ends with Poland-Brandenburg and Sweden-Lithuania

But Romanovs weren't descendants of Sophia. The Polish throne was elective under and after Jagellons.
  16. The Deluge ends with Poland-Brandenburg and Sweden-Lithuania

Lithuanian nobles were traditionally loyal to GDL as were Polish to Poland. And Poles backstabbing Lithuania weren't less common than Lithuanians backstabbing Poland. That was some feature of PLC. The king of PLC was required to be catholic. Romanovs were not related to Vytautas.
  17. WI: The Pope supresses the Teutonic order in 14th century

Maybe. In 1358 Algirdas and Kęstutis claimed some Prussian territory, roughly Sambia, Nadruvia, Bartia, Galindia in that map as well as all Baltic territories (left bank of Daugava river and Latgala on the right bank) in Livonia as a condition of their conversion.
  18. WI: The Pope supresses the Teutonic order in 14th century

You means Livonian branch of the Teutonic knights? It wasn't a separate order. I don't think that the archbishop would be satisfied with new order, they had similar issues with the sword brothers as well. More likely the pope would take the former territory of the order under his direct...
  19. WI:Polish King becomes the Grand Duke of Lithuania

Don't think so. There were other Gediminids.
