China is not a democracy or any where near it. She just open her doors for world trade, but that does not mean that it is anywhere close to being a democracy.
I think as soon as Overlord become a failure, all of the Allies resources will be poured into the Italian theater, and perhaps open a new front by invading Greece or Yugoslavia like Churchill wanted in the first place anyway.
In my opinion, the Allies could probably reach Berlin even faster...
I'm surprise anybody even replied to this guy. Should of just let him do his own research for his homework, instead of doing it for him... especially on an alternate history board.
The most forgotten in World War II in my opinion gotta be the 442nd Regiment. Little is ever written about them in WWII history books except for a sentence or two saying that they are an all Japanese American fighting unit in Europe and the most decorated US regiment in World War II. Funny how...
What if Churchill's B-24 Liberator was shot down over "neutral" Spain or France in 1942 on his trip to Cairo? What would happen if he was detained by either Spaniard or French troops?
Would the French or Spaniard turn them over to the Nazis (the French most likely will)? Would the Nazis...
I thought the Baltic states and part of the Polish state were carved from the old Romanov era Russian Empire... I don't know, but is that a good enough excuse?
Don't quote me on this, but I think I heard somewhere that on the last few days of war, the Nazis send some prototype of the ME-262 and the Komet to the Japanese.
Gentleman, actually I was hoping to hear some radical ideas besides Japan surrendering two days later than in OTL. Perhaps like...
What if the Enola Gay was intercepted by Japanese fighters over Japan? The Enola Gay was heavily damage, and the bomb release on it malfunctioned forcing it to crash land on Japan with the atomic bomb intact in its bay (I don't know how sensitive the bomb is, maybe someone here can enlighten...
Okay, let's say for some reason, Operation Dynamo was a complete failure. Either the Wehrmacht closed in on them, or the British just didn't want to risk her navy against the Luftwaffe. Anyway, how would this affect the war (before US intervention)? I'm not sure if the evacuees were sent to...
You know better than that. Can't have any discussion about Sealion here without everybody talking about details like how the pigeons' migrating season will affect the top speed of the Bf109 in 12 page essays.
How dare you, Lone Amigo! How dare you bring up Sealion! It's like the ultimate...
