No I am continueing the way I have been doing it because I couldn't rly make sense of the shapefiles and the way i have been doing it works fine for meAlso, have you started using the shapefile method I described?
Yooo that's cool! Thanks! Here they are, the Low countries in 1914
I did Belgium and Luxemburg as well as it was't a huge job, when the basemap is finished I will be making historic patches for the Dutch coastline

Looking at this, I'm kinda shocked that the Mississippi is wide enough to count as "coastline" pixels rather than "river" pixels.Patch #83

Would appriciate it if you left Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Nevada for me as I already started on them 😬Sorry about that, I fixed it.

Sure. Can I do California instead.Would appriciate it if you left Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Nevada for me as I already started on them 😬
If you could leave the states you left over for me plus Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Nevada that would be great, maybe you could do some states in Canada instead? I am only planning to do Quebec and Ontario right now.Sure. Can I do California instead?
This provides an error for me Maybe you have a discord where you can explain to me or send me a PM message here?Click on the square at the right of the layer in QGIS,
Click on the square next to the layer you want to save:Creating the shapefiles, mainly
Thank you, this works! I will be switching to this methode in future patchesThis saves the shapefile, you can then select it under the import option in G-projector.
I was just hoping to do a little more of the US since I've finally gotten the hang of the technique but if you've already started those areas you can finish them.If you could leave the states you left over for me plus Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Nevada that would be great, maybe you could do some states in Canada instead? This imagine is not aliased, nor do its edges align to the patches already made for the US2nd update: Illinois and Wisconsin:
why is it JPG tho2nd update: Illinois and Wisconsin:
That too, but I am more concerned he has drawn different borders than me so our patches can't be mergedwhy is it JPG tho
What do you mean by aliased? The edges probably don't align because I was using the shapefile method and you weren't.This imagine is not aliased, nor do its edges align to the patches already made for the US
