My roster is up on the United Baltic Duchy post, unfortunately is not the full 23. I don't think we should force a limit there, as long as we have 11 players on the pitch plus subs that should be fine.

I knew that my lack of Latin knowledge would bite me in the ass. Thanks!

I feel Milan and the Papal Republic should have a nice Guelph-Ghibbiline type Rivalry

Certainly I'm working on the basis that a surviving House of Este-Habsburg ended up being granted the rest of the Habsburg territories of Northern Italy and then acquired Parma later on, so they'd probably still be nominally claiming rights to Ferrara.

Right, we've now got 17 entrants at various stages, and 8 days to go until what we want to be the start of the tournament. As such, I'm going to give it until Sunday and if we still need to fill in some slots then we'll open it up to second teams.

Beyond that, we need the rosters for a few more teams and I would like to put out another call for people to write match reports.

Ditto what Alex says, 7 spaces left. Hopefully we get some more, but if we still need more after the weekend then we can open it up to anyone who wants to fill the gaps.

Here's the latest map, still plenty of space for interesting nations:

I've also filled out the Canaries' team.

@Martin23230 , @Alex Richards: Can you please clue me up why PMing out the match results is such a time-consuming job?

As I said: I can always, or at least on most days, write reports...

Also: Do we need rather good teams, or rather minnows, or average ones?

Hm, can I contribute a nation? I'm not exactly too filled in on European sports, would anyone mind getting a PM about how this whole game works? :p I'll do my research, so I will claim for the time being (if that's what you do).

I can honestly say that this contest is literally the most interest I ever take into football. To the extent that I can recall more about what countries were in AHFA 2012 than Euro 2012.

For the moment, all you really need to do is just plonk down a nation claim and fill in a team (you can just use a random name generator if you want to).

Between exams and university open days, I'm not going to have a lot of time to do match reports. Presuming we run this parallel with actual Euro 2016, I can do the last round of matches in the group stages, the semi-finals and the final but none of the other matches.
