  1. Small Steps, Giant Leaps: An Alternate History of the Space Age

I'm now imagining a scenario where both the USSR and the US grimly order the cosmonauts to separate themselves and return to Earth, and the cosmonauts just go "fuck that", though that's probably too 'action movie.'
  2. Al Grito de Guerra: the Second Mexican Revolution

I really believe this thread is among the greatest in the history of the site. You did an amazing job, thank you for sharing this story with us.
  3. Everything Has Gone Green: The Consequences of Googling Murray Bookchin

President Trash Panda. I absolutely love it.
  4. Al Grito de Guerra: the Second Mexican Revolution

This seems like one of those plans that's going to fall apart at the worst possible moment.
  5. Al Grito de Guerra: the Second Mexican Revolution

Everyone is the hero of their own story.
  6. Al Grito de Guerra: the Second Mexican Revolution

As much of a piece of shit as Bartlett is, I actually felt a moment of pity for him at those last words. Just a moment, but it was there.

  10. A Red Dawn: American Revolution and Rebirth

I don't think anyone here would have it any other way.
  11. A Red Dawn: American Revolution and Rebirth

I just found this thread a couple of days ago, and I have to say it is shaping up to be one of my all time favorites on this forum. And if you don't mind, in later periods will you involve Hubert Humphrey? I've always liked the guy, and I hope he'll be around to have a career ITTL as well.
  12. Was World War Two just as pointless and self-defeating as Iraq, asks Peter Hitchens

How is any of that any different from what any other religion has done in any one region of the planet throughout history?
