The Party Switching Bill of 2009

The Party Switching Bill was introduced to the 2009-2010 Parliament by MP Iori (DISPPR) on its first day in session. It was introduced in response to MP Stalin's Pipe Organs' defection from the DISPPR, depriving that party of a seat it had won in the election. The bill soon failed; because the precedent was that a seat, once filled, belongs to the MP and not the party.

Stalin's Pipe Organs soon formed his own party, the People's Revolutionary Soviet Party.
