WI: Spain joins the Allies in WWII

I supose one could propose some PoD where the rightist revolt never occurs or is defeated quickly. The Republic continues, is nuetral until sometime in 1943 or early 1944?

One consequence of Spain join ing the Allies, however unlikely would be the end of Wolfram or Tungsten exports to Germany. The Brits would make securing the mining region a high priority. I dont know what other sources Germany had, if any. Spain also sold a lot of leather to Germany. Maybe the Wehrmacht will have to wear sandals made from old tires after that?

Franco did try to join the United Nations before the Japanese surrender and was rebuffed, since the war was still going on any nation joining the UN was in effect declaring war on the Axis powers. Spain wasn't actually accepted as a member of the United Nations until 1955.
