IOTL, Lott (one of the main candidates for the 1960 Brazilian presidential election, where the president and the VP were elected separately) considered putting Oswaldo Aranha as his candidate for the vice-presidential election. However, Aranha's death stopped these plans. IF Aranha somehow lives longer and is the VP candidate of Henrique Lott, what would have happened? Let's assume that the election goes the same as OTL, Jânio Quadros is elected president while Aranha (instead of Jango) is elected Vice-president. Would Quadros still resign with a VP that wasn't as left-wing as Jango? IF he did resign, how would an Aranha presidency go? Maybe more focus could be given to foreign affairs given Aranha's interest in this subject.
