The Nazi invasion of Norway was "a damned close run thing" but they managed to gain control of the country, anyway. But...if they hadn't been able to pull it off in 1940 as OTL, what do you think would have happened then? A few different POD's:
-UK manages to successfully occupy the country instead.
-UK just manages to muck up the German invasion but doesn't follow through on it's own.
-UK manages to hold northern parts of the country (draw line where you like) while Germany occupies the south.
How do these affect UK/German naval operations? Ore shipments from Sweden? BoB?
Besides comment, are there any existing threads that discuss this?
