WI: João Goulart dies of a heart attack in 1961?

In 1961, while in a trip to Mexico after taking office as president, João Goulart fell severely ill, and it was later discovered that he had a heart attack. It wasn't exactly a surprise to Goulart, as he always suffered from cardiac problems and his habits (such as smoking and drinking) had been taking a major toll on his health. But what if he actually died in September 1961? Who would succeed him and how would that affect Brazilian politics in the 1960s?

Presumably, Ranieri Mazzilli again. As president of the Chamber of Deputies, he was next in line to succeed him after all. However, at this time, the parliamentarist compromise has already been instituted, so who knows what might happen.
