I was looking through some things on wikipedia where I came across a novel called Headlong of which some of you may know as they apparently terrible film King John. However going by the original plot of the novel, what if the airship disaster as described in the novel does kill the entire royal family. I am assuming this would also affect Princess Maud of Wales who was married to Hakon VII of Norway and their children. So tracing the family tree I am assuming the line of the former Duchy of Albany would be next in line even though the family has been deprived of the title since 1917. Otherwise would it instead go to Alice of Albany who married before the 1917 act to a Scottish Earl or to the next living non ex-Albany, the Duke of Connacht?
