WI: Frederick the Great murdered his father

That thread is inspired by one ASOIAF disscussion which I've seen on diffefent site, where Frederick the Great was compared to Tyrion and his father Frederick William to Tywin Lannister. So let's make that resemblance closer and let's say that Frederick also killed his father.
So Frederick keeps grudge against father after execution of von Katte and plans revenge. Frederick reconcile with father, but only to get his trust and to have occassion to kill him (perhaps with hidden small knife?) one day. And that day came in 1731 or 1732. Frederick has intention to commit suicide then but is captured by father's guards and imprisoned. Frederick is sentenced to death, after such murder Emperor also would be on favor of execution. Augustus William is made father's successor, although he'd be underaged and with king being murdered and his heir responsible for murder Prussia would be in turmoil for a while. How would situation further develop? Isn't it model Prussia-screw scenario?
