WI/AHC: Communist China in a Nazi-American Cold War

Christ, what a hollow analysis. Since when have countries based an alliance on something as simplistic as aesthetics?
The socialist Chinese I don’t think would get along with the genocide-happy Germans half a world away from them who would heavily disagree on one too many things.

There are good reasons why a PRC-Nazi friendship might be impossible but I really don't think the CCP would let the Reich's mass killings get in the way if it felt a partnership was desirable.

I can see the Americans still falling out with the PRC over some issue shortly after the "new China" is founded (might not entirely be Beijing's fault either, the US is instinctively anti-communist), and Mao courting Berlin soon thereafter. If it got off the ground, the partnership would likely come to an end once the remaining USSR falls into the Chinese orbit and the PRC starts looking too Yellow Peril-y for the Germans.
