I'm finishing up an Alternate History Vignette and will post it soon. What I'm wondering is which post-1900 timeline would people around here be most interested in?

1. Boats Against the Current: General Leonard Wood and Governor Frank Lowden strike a deal in the 1920 Republican convention to appear on the same ticket and win that November.

2. A Public Man: Richard Nixon joins the FBI in 1937 and never goes into politics (at least not like he did IOTL he does get his start at J. Edgar's FBI after all).

3. A Different Frontier: John F. Kennedy went into hospital to have back surgery in late 1954 and died during the procedure.

4. The Happy Warrior: Hubert Humphrey actually wins in Wisconsin and beats John F. Kennedy in the Democratic Primaries.

5. The Last Press Conference: Richard Nixon decides not to speak after losing the California gubernatorial race and becomes an Elder Statesman of the Republican Party.

6. Texas Hold 'Em: Richard Nixon decides to have John Connally replace Spiro Agnew as Vice President in 1974.

7. Sunrise in America: Ronald Reagan manages to beat Gerald Ford in the 1976 primaries.

8. A New Breeze of Freedom: Bill Clinton's various sexual assaults come out at the same time during the primaries and he drops out.
