War Chimps?

First- chimp language ability is scientifically proven, and is not so easily dismissed as done above with calling the majority of it unfounded.

Language ability is a much broader term than you're implying. Just because they can understand simple concepts doesn't mean they can understand and follow orders, distinguish friend from foe or really do anything militarily useful.

Second- Chimps have been documented in the wild of massing together for warfare and organized hunting parties to kill and eat monkeys (Chimps are not monkeys, it's not even close to cannibalism, don't be shocked).

Again you're oversimplifying the concept of warfare.

Dry and hot Middle East would be totally wrong enviromnent for pig. Pig cannot sweat so it is on big (not pig :D) problems even without shooting enemies. So that's why probably even crusaders haven't used pigs. But there might be other reasons too.

They dont need to last long, just carry out Operation Overpig on P-Day with tens of thousands of kelvar suite equiped agressive pigs paradropping on ISIS positions and cities, either they all surrender from fear of dying because of tuching a pig or they waste all their amunition fighting off the gluttonus horde.

Its a win-win,sure the civilians might get a bit traumatised but with ISIS i think thats already taken care of.

I don't think Muslims think if they touch a pig they die.....

The impression i got was that it might contaminate their souls so they cant go to heaven,in that case they would most certainly start fearing death.

We are talking about guys who drive armored cars loaded with chemical weapons in suicide attacks en mass towards their enemies.

To call them superstitious morons isnt an insult, its a fact.

They issue is the agressive apes are usually very territorial,in nature the strongest chimp is the boss untill a competitor drives him out,not a very efficient sense of respect.

Same thing could be said of wolves, but they were domesticated. It doesn't even necessarily need to be chimps. Maybe bonobos would be easier to tame/domesticate.

Well that and i dont remember bamboos ever actually assaulting people, you would probably just get a bunch of them on the front line and end up with an orgy, would be a good distraction thou.....

"And why not eat of that (meat) on which Allah's Name has been pronounced ( at the time of slaughtering the animal), while he has explained to you in detail what is forbidden you, except under compulsion or necessity?" al-An'am 6:119

While there is more material on this in both the Quran and the Sunnah this is the shortest single quote and it will suffice. According to this Surah there are cases in which the consumption and therefore contact with a swine is allowed (same for alcohol) according to numerous fatwas this pertains to:

1. Consumption of a najaasah (impure) object (maitah, pork or alcohol) is permissible if the person fears death by hunger or thirst. Thus you can consume something that is haraam if you have to in order to survive.

2. Speaking word of Kufr during torture or when subjugated. As in captured and forced to do so by your captors. Or even through Taqqiyyah.

3. Warding off an aggressor whether in war or in peace. As in a pig battalion sent at a Muslim army.

Therefore Daesh, would pull up these rulings to allow themselves to do so, same for any Muslim army.

If you doubt this, check fatwa number 130815.

The main rule Daesh or a Muslim army would need to fulfill which would be time consuming is the cleaning up of the swine flesh after the battle or of fallen allied soldiers, which would probably need a fatwa and discussion to decide the correct cleaning methods of a fallen Muslim who is covered in swine flesh.

The cleaning of najaasah is covered in fatwa number 20843

In that case the possibility number two from my scenario kicks in and ISIS suddenly has a lot less ammo to use against other people.

I did say to dress the pigs in kelvar, those things could keep going for a while even under bullet fire.

Chimps take 15 years to reach maturity. If you have to wait that long, you might as well just have a troop of regular human soldiers.

Define 'language'. There is very considerable controversy as to how much chimps and gorillas can use 'language'. Certainly, they can pick up some individual words, and combine 2 words in ways that make sense. But there is a lot of controversy about how much meaning is filled in by the researchers, and how much was sent by the apes.

NB: by 'words', I don't mean human spoken words (which they don't have the vocal apparatus for), but sign language or geometric shapes or various other forms of communication.

The OP reminds me of a mayor plot point in the Freefall web comic:

It is quite difficult to domesticate an intelligent animal, because it means that sooner or later would try to rebel if they feel uncomfortable.
Bonobo Chimps are semi-domestic Chimps, just like Present day humans are semi-domestic humans, they both have smaller brains weaker bones, a more mellow temperament, etc.
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/tame-theory-did-bonobos/

It seems that the only Ape that could successful communicate with the signing method, to a degree, are Bonobos. Which are different. The big problem here is controlling the Chimps, which many have mentioned is not easy to do.

Domesticated chimps=humans. Bonobos are not "semi-domesticated chimps". Read "The Third Chimpanzee" by Jared Diamond.

Humans are not at all in such a relationship with chimps, different species, man. They are not even in the same genus. While proving domestication in Humans may not be a trivial issue, chimps and bonobos have diverged for quite a long time, and we have access to specimens of both, comparisons are significantly easier. Bonobos exhibit many traits of domestication when compared to chimps. A quick search on google for “hare chimps domestication” yields a peer reviewed articles as 4rth result(this may vary).

Hare said:
In addition to showing less severe forms of aggression compared to chimpanzees, bonobos show differences in phenotypic traits and developmental patterns that appear analogous to the domestication syndrome (see Table 1). First, morphological similarities between bonobos and domesticates include reduced cranial size (Coolidge 1933; with as much as a 20% reduction in male cranium; Cramer 1977; also see S. Durrleman, X. Pennec, A. Trouve, N. Ayache & J. Braga, unpublished data), a reduction in facial projection (McHenry 1984; Shea 1989) and decreased mandible and tooth size (Cramer 1977; Zihlman & Cramer 1978; Latimer et al. 1981; McHenry & Corruccini 1981; Pilbrow 2006). Bonobos also show diminished sexual dimorphism in their brains and crania compared to chimpanzees (Cramer 1977; see also McHenry & Corruccini 1981; McHenry 1984). Systematic comparisons between the skulls of bonobos and chimpanzees have consistently interpreted differences as developmental delays in bonobos (Schultz 1941; Shea 1983, 1984, 1989; Kappelman 1996; Lieberman et al. 2007; but see Mitteroecker et al. 2005)…
