Want to find out how plausible this scenario is...

So I am thinking of writing an AH story, and I want it to be set in 1900 (ish) with a Europe dominated by a communist France, but not Bolshevik Leninist Stalinist, more mild and little less authoritarian. Also I want a very strong Anglo-American alliance (not too hard I assume considering the state Europe is in). So yeah, how plausible is this, and what events do you think could lead up to this?

1)You should take an anarcho-syndicalist France, more influence by both Commune and by social thinkers (others that Proudhon, too linked with Napoleon III). Maybe you could take some inspiration from OTL Amiens' Charte.

How to reach this? Probably using one of the economical crisis, or even (but imagination is required) using a collusion between 1907 events and economical crisis.

2)Anglo-American alliance? If France didn't turn colonialist (increasing the odds of regular economical crisises in the country), well maybe UK would have to search someone else to counterbalance German rise.
After all, if they managed to allied themselves to France OTL, an alliance with USA wouldn't be that absurd.

Except : USA were very very very isolationnists. I mean, a lot. So you'll need an international crsis involving both Germany and USA with opposing interest regarding them.

Perhaps there's a communist French revolution in the 1880s/90 after an economical crisis, communist revolutions spread through surrounding states, and the surrounding states join the union of socialist republics that France becomes.

Possibly France wins the Franco-Prussian war, then goes Communist in an economic crisis sometime in the late 1870s/early 1880s? With the Germanies divided and weak from a defeat in the Franco-Prussian war, the French would probably be able to at least dominate Germany, and from there they dominate Germany. They manage to do this due to Russian distraction with the Ottomans and British distraction with their own attempted revolution.

The problem with a French revolution after the Franco-Prussian war is that Germany would be around waiting to jump on any sign of weakness. Russia would not lift a finger to save a Communist France. If they don't at least bring Germany to heel, they cannot dominate the Continent.

Imperialaquila, that sounds good, maybe if the uprisings spread to germany/prussia so they are occupied with that and so not able to intervene in france, or a convenient war with another great power?
