I'm setting up a remake of an AAR I did two years ago. I need a plausible way to make France have a revolution around the same time after the American Revolution fails. So far, I've been thinking perhaps some key figures, most importantly Ben Franklin, flee to France after the defeat. Somewhat on accident, they manage to spark a French Revolution.
The ultimate goal here is to have Louisiana independent with no USA existing. I've worked most of it out, but still need a French Revolution somehow.
