Based off of this interesting post on /r/AskHistorians, I actually don't really think that international maps would be marking the Russian territory as simply "Anarchy." Instead, it's likely cartographers, especially for general use (like public schools), would continue to depict the rump USSR (or just "Russia") regardless of the facts on the ground just as maps from the 1910s, 20s, and 30s continued to show Qing era boundaries with vague demarcations such as "Chinese Republic." I suspect that more specialist maps for OFN use and such would try and depict more accurately the changing political situation in post-Anarchy Russia, but general maps of the world for general consumption aren't just gonna label "Anarchy" and leave it blank I think. Sort of like how modern maps don't just erase Somalia or Syria off of the maps despite the collapse of central government and continue to represent it as if a state held control over that nation.

This honestly raises a point about where the capital of the USSR on a world map would be placed? Would a world map say Irkutsk is the capital of the USSR?

I think it was mentioned when playing as Vyatka that Samara served as the 'back-up capital' for the USSR during WW2 that the government initially evacuated to. Hence, the maps might mark that as its capital.

A new TNO Roadmap:

Very impressive, though I wonder what's the order to these? It's clear toolbox theory comes first, but which of the second row follows next?

Personally, I'm most excited for Shifting Tides for the In-devs (I wanna play Mexico and Canada [in order: Lib, PC, CCF, SCP) and Black Gold, Red Sand for the Future updates (Iran and Levant seem equally interesting till we learn more, but if I had to pick I'd start with a game as Iran because I wanna see what they do before the events everyone's already seen).

A new TNO Roadmap:
When I saw the '[LONG] 7+ years content' tag on the top of the image, my first reaction was: 'Wait... They are already planning for things that they will be adding into the mod in 7 years into the future?!' until I realised what it actually meant. :openedeyewink:

If Thailand content come I hope that we can pick which side to join during great Asian war rather than predetermine like it is currently. Having option to pick is way more interesting.

Is the "Setting Sun" means Japan will lose its superpower status?
From what we have been seeing so far, with all the domestic troubles faced by the country, the US most likely finally getting its act together, a resurgent China, and with the GAW being inevitable, Japan losing its superpower status is certainly in peril, to put it lightly.
