Not a fan of Goldwater but Smith and the populists need to go. They have allowed Communism Nazism and Integralism to spread unmolested while destroying our democratic institutions at home as well as eroding the separation of church and state.

I think TTL's America is an interesting demonstration of an alternate political spectrum. Religious Conservative Economic quasi-Socialists vs Free-Market Social Libertarians. Honestly I'd probably take it over OTL (if it was less of a mess than TTL is).
Though I could see TTL’s Emergency equivalent being triggered by a resurgence of the Pakistan Movement.

I would say it would be tribalism and not nationalism. But along with this tribalism we are going to have religious problems with Christians vs Muslims.
That's not going to happen, French forces will not follow an African. Or accept an Africanization of "France." Not to mention that an African in power does not improve the situation, what is his tribe, what is his religion, how strong is his power base. All of this is indicative of the stability of this nation, how the Berbers will see this leader. In my opinion, Free France is a dead nation, which is still walking. Not to mention North Africa, which is now completely ethnically French. If this was part of the empire and these French were loyal to Napoleon in theory the country would be more stable due to the fact that the elites had a solid power base. But considering what Europe is like nowadays, the French living in North Africa are going to be a very different group from the sub-Saharan French.

Certainly, a president making peace with a group that is seen by a large part of the population as terrorists will be great for the current situation. Unfortunately in the case of the USA, priority in relation to minorities would have to be taken back set. First, the economy would have to improve, with the economy improving the mood of the population is calmer and then you can try to pass this type of thing on. Blacks are not a group capable of destabilizing the country, they are a very small minority.
Sure you will leave the country you invaded and affirm your support for one side of the war if they support your policy. Considering the bad blood, what to do if both sides tell you to sit on a pineapple? The integralist side already has material support from the Plata bloc, you have to help the other side if you don't want to have an integralist government as a neighbor. So the bargaining power is very small.
right with what money? The country, from what has been said, is in a spiraling debt. And unlike OTL, the USA is unable to export its inflation, which prevents printing money like a crazy person from having little effect. The only way would be a massive cost cut or a serious tax increase. Both very unpopular things.

As far as I know, the majority of congress are longists. It's a good way to not pass anything in congress or be impeached
This would probably work best in the Caribbean region, Central America, and northern South America.
So abandon France, England, Belgium and Portugal. If Portugal feels collapse and thinks it won't gain Anglo support, it will run to Brazil, Belgium aka Congo should have imploded by now, France is unstable and England is very paranoid.

So a fantasy government? The strong political groups are made up of these 4 groups, the Black Panthers and movements like the Nation of Islam are pro-black groups, with the Nation of Islam being black supremacists. the moderates as a whole lost space to the hardliners.
