The fate of the Belgium Congo

What would be the fate of the Belgium Congo if Germany manages a stalemate during WW2 ie. holds onto France, Belgium, Netherands and everything up to the Urals ?

Would it become part of an African Free French Republic ?
Would a Belgium Government in exile manage to hold onto it ?


Any ideas or thoughts will be appreciated.

I know that in the OTL early 50s, Belgium and the USA worked together to set up a "second capitol" (and army- and airbases) in Congo to give the Belgian government a place to flee to and carry on the fight in case the commies got any "fun" ideas.

maybe the same happens in this TL?
