Lost a total squeaker as Carter v Ford on normal. 281 to 257 in the electoral college, although I won the popular vote (just!!) by 108,400 votes.

Ford managed to win Texas by 5,484 votes, which gave him the win.
It was close both ways with Carter winning Iowa by just 1,466 votes, and Florida by 12,776 votes.

I managed to get the same EC result (finally!), but I actually managed to improve on JFK's popular vote, with him getting 50.19% of the vote. (*)
California in Normal seems to be the only OTL Nixon state that you can win as Kennedy, and even then it requires one hell of a combination. And more often than not Nixon ends up winning Hawaii and more importantly Missouri and even Texas in exchange.

I've gone into election night with 1 point or more leads in Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin and Montana, but I haven't been able to win any of them, my best was 332.
