Note : All aircraft are based on OTL ones, with minor alterations. All have ATL names and were created by wholly ATL manufacturers in wholly ATL countries. The aircraft livery profiles showcased here are not to scale (i.e. a Cessna Grand Caravan is obviously not the same size as an L-410 or even a Fokker 100).

NOTES
Home timeline : "The Second Asterisk" (POD from OTL ca around 300 AD)
Grand Duchy of Lemuria = ATL native/European monarchy established in the 18th century by adventurer and colonial administrator Ianus Sunog (Szúnyog) in the southern half of OTL Madagascar. Inhabited mostly by the so-called "Sailor Shona" (an ATL seafaring offshoot of the Shona ethnicity that migrated to Madagascar roughly during late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages) and by Malagasy peoples. Lemuria was once a protectorate of Gallia (ersatz-France with more of a lasting Roman influence), and after Sunog's Rebellion (Chimurenga, hence also the name of the capital) was at first known as Sunogia (Gallians ignored the name change and mostly kept using the older name). The OTL Mascarene Islands are part of the country and each island has an autonomous local government. The LDA's primary livery colours and emblem are derived directly from the
GDL's national flag.
Chimurenga = capital of the grand duchy, named in honour of Sunog's Rebellion. Has an eponymous international airport. Lies roughly on the spot of OTL
Tôlanaro/Tolagnaro (aka Fort Dauphin).
Ruvambatsetsa = one of the bigger cities on the western coast of the grand duchy. Has an eponymous international airport. Lies roughly on the spot of OTL
Andavadoaka.
Mushanawanda = one of the bigger cities on the eastern coast of the grand duchy. Has an eponymous international airport. Lies roughly on the spot of OTL
Farafangana.
St. Denis = OTL
Mauritius.
Dzingai Guta = capital of the island of St. Denis, the name mean's "Dzingai's Town" (Dzingai was Sunog's mixed marriage son and successor, the second grand duke of Lemuria). The town lies roughly on the spot of OTL
Port Louis.
Mhambohangaiwa = term of Shona settlers on St. Denis for a local endemic species of giant flightless pigeons (known in OTL as
dodos). The name translates literally to "henpigeon". Unlike in OTL, the extinction of dodos had been prevented and they live in various reserves in the mountains of the island.
Aelonautics = aeronautics, aviation.
Aelofiacre = ATL equivalent of what we in OTL would call an Aerotaxi/Airtaxi (colloquial term for any airline service operating regular local flights via bushplane aircraft, often in inhospitable terrain or at countryside airfields with only basic infrastructure). The ATL term is a combination of the prefix
aelo- (from the Greek god of the wind, Aeolus; analogous to OTL "aero-") and the French word
fiacre (small four-wheeled carriage for public hire). This particular aelofiacre subsidiary company is named after the rare nocturnal
aye-aye lemur.
For the other ATL countries, see
this list.
ON A FINAL NOTE
All texts from this collection that are in OTL English are translated to the convenience of an OTL reader. English as we know it doesn't exist in this timeline, with the closest thing to it being the official language of the Saxonwycke Politia, the Anglo-Saxon state formed in OTL south central and southeastern England.
