Star Trek: Birth of the Federation

I owned this game many years ago, and loved it for its simplicity and downright addictiveness.

Ive looked for many years, and google seems to delights in directing me to websites from which to download the game, but which in reality allow me to do nothing of the kind.

Any ideas? Can anyone direct me toward an actual dowloadable version?

This is where I got it. I've long been a fan of Master of Orion, and this game basically functions as a Star Trek mod of that game.

Ahh, yeah. BOTF...I still have the CD, such a nice game. But I only know sites with mods.

Hmm, i downloaded it from that link, played it for a while, turned my laptop off, then when i went to go back on it, it wouldnt start up no matter what i did.
