Could the Vikings successfully colonize the mid Atlantic islands (Madeira, The Azores and so on) and how suitable are their agricultural packages for these islands?
Probably. Nobody lived there, the climate's pleasant, there's fresh water, and the settlers could catch fish to supplement what they could grow. It should be a lot easier to make a success of than Greenland.
