Christopher Moltisanti, after being told by Adriana that she's been passing information to the FBI and that they want him to "flip" on the family and go into witness protection, goes out for some smokes and to "clear his head." He doesn't stop at the gas station, see the defeated-looking guy climbing into an SUV with his wife and two kids (giving Christopher a bleak image of his own future in witness protection), and decide to go to Tony instead. Rather, he goes to a different gas station, where he sees a guy loudly berating a young relative, calling him a "stupid moron" - which renews his rage when he remembers how, as he just complained to Adriana days ago, he puts his life on the line for Tony Soprano only to get treated like garbage. He makes up his mind, drives back to the apartment, and, standing in the door, says to Adriana, "All right, where do we go to meet your f***in' FBI agents?"
