Robert Conroy

I wonder if Germanica and Custer in Chains were completed? I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with his books, but I did always read them.

Rest in peace. :(

Woah. His books were always enjoyable, plausibility tended to vary but still enjoyable. Rest in peace Mr. Conroy.

RIP. He wrote some fun, enjoyable alternate histories, and it's cool that he got the chance to spend his later years writing them and doing something fun. Thanks for everything, Mr. Conroy!

RIP Mr. Conroy and I'll give credit where credit is due. I did not always like his books but he wrote books that sold and he was prolific up to the very end.

His books were actually pretty decent.

Even his Trent War book, while somewhat bad, was OK (it was Citizen Kane compared to Harry Harrison's version).

RIP, Mr. Conroy.

RIP. Himmler's War was the first AH book, and thanks to him I got into the genre. I have enjoyed all of his books, and hopefully he finished Custer and Germania before he passed away.

That's a damn shame. Plausibility wasn't the best but the stories were good and I enjoyed them.

I need to get Himmler's War and his newer books now
