Verse 1
On 1527, Demak Sultanate defeats the remaining Hindu Majapahit state, the state ruled by the usurper Prabu Udara, then afterwards the Demak Sultanate would annex Malacca from the Portuguese and Bali and later subjugate Johor, Saludong(OTL Majority of Luzon) and Aceh afterwards easily due to them recognizing Demak as the continuation of Majapahit, making the Puppet Sultanates of Saludong and Aceh later on in the later part of the 16th century, Demak would install a dynasty in Saludong or Sambali in the mid 16th century replacing the earlier semi-native dynasties that are related to Demak as they are an earlier branch of the Rajasa Dynasty, the newly installed dynasty would slowly establish the Sultanate of Saludong.

A few years before that Rajah Aceh was captured by the Spanish El Cano expedition which was led by Magellan in 1520’s.

The Spanish would send the Expedition of Loaisa after the return of the El Cano expedition and the Spanish would be interested to establish their presence in the East and the trade with China, the Spanish would already have Butuan as their territory due to Butuan’s Rajah pledging loyalty to the Spanish.

Verse 2
On 1564, López de Legazpi was commissioned by the viceroy, Luis de Velasco, to lead an expedition in the Pacific Ocean, to find the Spice Islands where the earlier explorers Ferdinand Magellan and Ruy López de Villalobos had landed in 1521 and 1543, respectively. The expedition was ordered by King Philip II of Spain, after whom the Philippines had earlier been named by Ruy López de Villalobos. The viceroy died in July 1564, but the Audiencia and López de Legazpi completed the preparations for the expedition.

On November 19 or 20, 1564, five ships and 500 soldiers, sailed from the port of Barra de Navidad, New Spain, in what is now Jalisco state, Mexico (other sources give the date as November 1, 1564, and mention 'four ships and 380 men'). Members of the expedition included six Augustinian missionaries, in addition to Fr. Andrés de Urdaneta, who served as navigator and spiritual adviser, Melchor de Legazpi (son of Adelanto de Legazpi), Felipe de Salcedo (grandson of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi), and Guido de Lavezarez (a survivor of the expedition of Ferdinand Magellan).

López de Legazpi and his men sailed the Pacific Ocean for 93 days. In 1565, they landed in the Mariana Islands, where they briefly anchored and replenished their supplies. There they fought with Chamorro tribes and burned several huts.

A chief of Bohol island, named Catunao gave information to Miguel Lopez of Cebu, and accompanied Lopez as a guide. López de Legazpi's expedition anchored off the Indianized Rajahnate of Cebu on February 13, 1565, but did not put ashore due to opposition from natives.

On February 22, 1565 the expedition reached the island of Samar and made a blood compact with Datu Urrao. The Spaniards then proceeded to Limasawa and were received by Datu Bankaw, then to Bohol, where they befriended Datu Sikatuna (or Catunao) and Rajah Sigala. On March 16, Legazpi made a blood compact with Datu Sikatuna.

On April 27, 1565, the expedition returned to Cebu and landed there. Rajah Tupas challenged the Spaniards, but were overpowered by them. The Spaniards established a colony, naming the settlements "Villa del Santisimo Nombre de Jesús" (Town of the Most Holy Name of Jesus) after an image of Sto. Niño in one of the native houses.

In 1569, due to scarcity of food provisions in Cebu, Legazpi transferred to Panay where they were peacefully welcomed by the people in the Kedatuan of Madja-as and they founded a second settlement on the bank of the Panay River. In 1570, Legazpi sent his grandson, Juan de Salcedo, who had arrived from Mexico in 1567, to Mindoro (Former location of the Huangdom of Ma-i) to punish the Muslim Moro pirates who had been plundering Panay villages. Salcedo also destroyed forts on the islands of Ilin and Lubang, respectively South and Northwest of Mindoro.

In 1570, having heard of the rich resources in Luzon, Legazpi dispatched Martín de Goiti to explore the northern region. Landing in Batangas with a force of 120 Spaniards, de Goiti explored the Pansipit River, which drains Taal Lake. On May 8, they arrived in Manila Bay. There, they were welcomed by the natives. Goiti's soldiers camped there for a few weeks, while forming an alliance with the Muslim leader, Rajah Ache, who was a vassal under the Sultan of Brunei in the Bruneian Saludong. Legazpi wanted to use Manila's harbor as a base for trade with China.

However the Saludong/Sambali Sultanate would have conflicts with the Bruneians regarding the lands of Tondo and the Bruneian controlled Saludong and for that reason the Demak Empire would ally with the Spanish against the Bruneians.

Saludong Sultanate, the puppet state of Demak-Majapahit would be forced to act against the Spanish and annex Meycauayan from the Bruneians and tried to even enlist the help of the Chinese pirate Limahong, but the Spanish would defeat the Saludong Sultanate which would result in the Spanish gaining Meycauayan permanently.

The Saludong Sultanate and its mother country, Majapahit would give the city of Laoag in Saludong to the Spanish in 1574 in exchange for a temporary alliance with the Spanish, in this time the Sultanate of Saludong had already formed under Demak influence.

The Bruneian scions like Lakandula in Tondo would try to kick the Spanish with the support of the pirate Limahong but the Bruneian scions are defeated, and the Spanish would secure Manila, Meycauayan and Tondo in 1576.

note:
Since the OTL Political arrangement in Luzon is Butterflied the Spanish don't conquer the coastal parts of OTL Northern Luzon but pulls a ternate instead, wherein the spanish would gain ports.
