Djinguereber Mosque in Timbuktu, Mali after the Great Panic. The hordes of zombies attacked even here and though the Mosque's walls where able to shelter some many where breached and the infected swarmed in leaving only a few survivors. The Mosque, built in 1327 was damaged, but survived mostly intact. The few survivors where able to live through the worst of WWZ due to the food supplies in the abandoned city. The formation of the Mali Federation along the Niger River finally brought relief to the surviviors of Timbuktu some 12 years after the Great Panic.

A U-2 spy plane being stored. The U-2 was grounded during World War Z as there was no need to operate high altitude spyplanes since the enemy could not shoot back.

JoJolion_1.jpg

The front cover of volume 1 of JoJolion (ジョジョリオン, Jojorion) the eighth part of the ongoing Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (ジョジョの奇妙冒険, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken) written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The first chapter of JoJolion was published on May 19, 2011 and would continue receiving new chapters until April 2013 due to the Great Panic, leaving the manga on hold for a period of time until in mid-2017, when Araki himself announced he would continue to publish new chapters as a way to uplift moral. The manga wouldn't see completion until Spring 2025. In late 2026, he announced the ninth part of series The JoJoLands, which was serialized in February 2027.

Two screenshots from the 2001 build of Duke Nukem Forever that was leaked online in 2028, the leaker himself claims to have a relative who worked at 3-D Realms during the late 90s and early 2000s and held onto the build for many years until succumbing to lung cancer in 2025, the leaker wouldn't discover the build until in 2027 when looking through thumb drives and hard disks containing 3-D realms' works. The 2001 build being leaked was seen as a suprise by many, who didn't think it'll see the light of day even after the War. The DNF 2001 Build wasn't the only thing that was leaked, the abandoned 1996 side-scroller version of Duke Nukem Forever, and Duke Nukem: Endangered Species, was reworked into Vivisector: Beast Within, the latter of which was shown off to 3-D Realms prior to it's cancellation in 2001.

Bayraktar-TB2.jpg

A Bayraktar TB2 drone in service in the Turkish Air Force as of 2023. The TB2 was meant to be the replacement of the older TB1. As of the Great Panic, TB2s were only in prototype stage. Nonetheless, the prototypes were used for recon in identifying megaswarms and potential safe zones for the Redeker Plan. Some TB2s were armed with missiles to thin out megaswarms.

Tajik soldiers mobilized to eradicate zombie hordes coming from recently-turned Chinese refugees. Note the face masks the soldiers are wearing as it was believed at this point that the Solanum Virus was airborne.

WWII Japanese bunkers on Iwo Jima. The island was turned into a refugee camp during the Great Panic, as the cliffs were known to prevent underwater zombies from washing ashore and wandering into the island.
