The experts in Hawaii are unsure if it was sabotage or the fact that the Han Defense Minister, who evidence increasingly shows was behind this move, did not give the scientist and techs enough time to deal with problems. The end result was the weapon should have had more limits to it. For instance it should have only covered Rockets attempting to impact Han territory not Jet Planes or modern helicopters. Further experts stated that the fact that the satellite malfunction in such a big way was a shock to the Han side. Transmissions from the Han republic to the satellite had now been discovered as recording that were copied by the Royal Hawaiian Air Force. An attempt was made to destroy the satellite but it failed. The question that needed to be answered was was an agent of the Cultist/terrorist responsible.
The Hawaiian Government passed along some satellite intelligence of the area thought to be the location of the base in the Han Republic. A Special Forces detachment from the Hawaiian Army and Air Force flew to the Philippines on a jet and then boarded a C-130 for the Han Republic. A squadron of A-1 Skyraiders had lft for the Han Republic. They would support the Imperial forces.
The Secretary of Defense informed the Prime Minister that Hawaiian and Empire of the Rising Sun Forces had captured the Han Defense Minister along with the launch facility. Information was that only three scientist/ technicians were still alive that had been involved i with the satellite. A Royal Hawaiian C-130 landed and picked them up for transport to a military hospital in Japan. Meanwhile the Defense Minister was transported to Shanghai for a first round of questioning. Hawaiian and Japanese experts went through the documents and the equipment. The Paratrooper Brigade established a security zone. A RAF C-130 was due in with additional experts.
Documents were flown to Guam and copied for transmission to Hawaii, India, Empire of the Rising Sun and to the United States. Interviews were being conducted around the clock with personnel captures and found in the Han Republic. So far the hostile satellite had been kept in check and prevented from expanding its range of destruction further around the globe.
Currently there were five Super Anti-satellite Missiles available to the Royal Hawaiian Air Force/ Royal Hawaiian Navy. Experts believed that at least 30 would be needed to stand a chance of overwhelming the Satellites ability to destroy them. An Irish Factory was producing some of them for use by the RAF. It hoped to have 12 ready and the Hawaiian Facility hoped to have another 12 which would give them 29. Germany had its version under production and hoped to also have 12 ready.
The National Security Council of the Hawaiian Government met and authorized additional funding to produce more Anti-Satellite Missiles. The facility in Hawaii was operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week to produce more missiles. The hope was to have at least 36 of them available in time for the joint strike launch. Experts believed that at the worse the strike would check the satellites ability to expand any further and at best it would destroy it. Based upon data gained the belief was that the satellite weapons would contract and the range would drop to within China- Mongolia and part of Siberia.
Two Luftwaffe Tornado Interceptor were launched with ASAT Missiles to take out the unauthorized launching of a satellite in Iraq. The two fighters had 2 missiles each and the Hawaiian Space authority had notified the Germans of this illegal launch. Two Missiles were fired and the satellite was destroyed. Three C-130 bearing 90 German Commandoes were enroute to the region and the Austrian Government had also dispatched a unit to reinforce the Germans
The Hawaiian Space Authority together with the allies launched the ASAT attack on the Han Satellite with 42 Missiles The Satellite was heavily damaged by the attack and the Hawaiian Space authority authorized Thor's Hammer launch from Lunar One to finish it off. All electronic would be shut off before the impact to minimize damace in China, Manchuria, Hong Kong Tibet Mongolia, Siberia, Norther Korea.
Thor's Hammer Finished off the Han Satellite. The electromagnetic Pulse did cause some damage to those facilities which were not shut down. All of the region was warned that it would cause damage. The threat that had been hanging over the world was ended. The Austro -German Forces struck the facility that had launched a satellite without the approval of the government. The Commandos overran the facility and they took prisoners and captured documents and equipment. There was little doubt that this was an attempt to knock technology back.
