PC: Anarchy because of Great Depression

If no FDR no other equivalent, a libertarian POTUS decides that the invisible hand of market will lead USA to growth again, and then USA fell to chaos, anarchy and many people trying to get profits and power from the crisis, for example the Technocrat movement :D

How much plaussible is that?

Not at all. Although a lack of solution to the great depression may lead to anarchism catching on in a more widespread way in America.

Do you mean:

a) Capitalist Anarchism (Anarcho-Capitalism) as propagated by Ayn Rand and Murray Rothbard?

b) one or more of the diverse forms of Communist Anarchism (Anarcho-Communism) as propagated by Bakunin, Kropotkin, et al.?

or c) Somalia-esque eternal civil war of several faction, with warlords running around and large zones of the country not being governed at all?

or d) a stateless society in general, as advocated by the Anarchist movement?

Which form of anarchy/anarchism do you want to "reign" (or, rather, not reign) in the USA?

c) Chaos and civil war, but obviously, there is still the gov. More like Mexico right now.

Great Depression / Chaos & Civil War / Mexico right now.

What with the drug running violence & the gangs of former special forces guys in Mexico?

Sounds like an Al Capone uber-wank where
- Prohibition doesn't get repealed in the 30's.
- He's got WW1 veterans who can't get a job elsewhere working for him, with pilfered WW1 surplus weapons to fight all-out bootlegger street level gang wars.
- The govt's too broke/corrupted to run the police, the pacifists are throttling funding for the army.
