This thread might be of interest. The thread focused mostly on technology and there was a detailed discussion of how the cruiser might evolve without the treaty limitations, how large battleship and battlecruiser size and armament would go, and the implications for torpedoes, submarines, and naval aviation. I think there was some discussion of building programs as well.
