No Lincoln assassination

If Lincoln were not assassinated, would there have been no Jim Crow segregation laws? If so would there be no need for the Civil Rights Movement? I think that possibly Lincoln would have requested that as an amendment to be passed probably near the end of his term. Would he have been different over time and become a horrible president as said in Batman "You either die a hero or live to see yourself become the villain,"? It would be nice to see your responses and possible scenarios if this were true. Or just put it this way, what if John Wilkes Booth either got caught before he could assassinate Lincoln or just did not assassinate him?

I think its likely that Lincoln would have face opposition from the Radical Republicans in the Congress over his 'going easy' on the South. Reconstruction wouldn't occur as we know it.

I don't see the Jin crow laws vanishing completely, but maybe most of them will be gone. maybe
and Reconstruction will definetly change drasticly.
and Western expansion...... how would that be?
