this is probably asb, but what if alcohol was never discovered? what sort of cultural/societal changes would occur? would there be any proof that god loves mankind?

Very Hard As Fermentation, is a natural part of the Decay process.
Grapes ferment due to natural Yeast on their skins, as do several other Fruits.

But without Alcohol, Probally a greater acceptance of other intocicants, as they would be a larger part of our History.

The Firewater problems comes from Indians learning about Firewater, from Binge Drinkers. AFAIK Indians handle Socail Wine and Beer, OKay.

I think it was more the introduction of hard liquor that led to that, since hard liquors are distilled.

Its not only wrong, its disturbing. Do you realize how many people will miss out on fatherhood/motherhood? The entire world might very well be populated by eleventy-seven people if this were to happen.
