Stand-alone Slam Bradley and Huntress movies Directed by Francis Ford Coppola or Martin Scorsese

I don't think either of them would direct, not in this time period. Perhaps a post-Heaven's Gate Michael Cimino would accept the director's chair.

After a quick look:

Shado wasn't introduced until late 1987 with The Longbow Hunters. Chances are she would appear in a 90's era Green Arrow movie, not an 80's.

The Keaton Batman franchise didn't apear until 1989. If you are truly going 5 films with him, you're pushing that well into the 90's as well, maybe as long as a decade.

Black Mask: While his first appearance was in 1985, he was a relatively minor character until much later. He had no appearances between 1986 and 1992 in the comics. Chances are he wouldn't get more than a bit part in the movies in the late 80's to early 90's.

More looks:

I like the idea of Valerie Bertinelli as the Huntress, but she was and has primarily been a TV star and there is still that divide there in the 80's between the two.

Stephanie Brown: She didn't exist until 1992, so she really can't be an 80's movie character. Same with Rene Montoya.

I like the idea of Bruce Campbell as Jack Ryder, but he was still pretty culty in the late 80's and early 90's. The studios would push for someone with better name recognition.

David Spade was an unknown in the 80's (his first acting job was in 1987) and wouldn't have any sort of real name recognition even after Saturday Night live in 1990, but even more in teh mid 90's with Just Shoot Me.

Kevin Smith the actor would be unknown to American audiences until the mid 90's. No 80's era movies for him.

No sure about Snipes as Jon Stewart. I just don't quite see him that way. I think Denzel might fit better here.

Burt Lancaster as Alan Scott? If you are following DC canon, Alan is physically in his 50's. Burt Lancaster is in his 70's during the 80's.

Not sure about Nancy Mckeon as Wonder Girl. Toughenss yes. Glam? Not really.

Michael Holt didn't exist as a character until the late 90's, so it would be impossible for him to be in an 80's comic book movie directed by Bill Cosby.

Shade the Changing Man: Didn't join the Suicide Squad until 1988. They would be hard pressed to get an 80's era movie in place with him as part of the team.

Jim Carrey had little to no name recognition in the 80's despite have 10 years of work. Robin Williams would be a better fit personality wise for Plastic Man...you just have trouble with all the body hair. :D

Nuke is a late 80's DD villian. You probably couldn't have him in a move before 88 or so (given all the time for production etc...)

Despite what Ang Lee thinks, you don't need to show Bruce Banner's father in a Hulk movie.

I think Pierce Bronson might make a better Iron Man.

A little more:

Famke Jansen's career didn't start until 1992. It would be tough for her to be in an 80's era Avenger's movie.

Kyle Rayner didn't exist until 1994. He can't be in an 80's era movie.

David Caruso was considered a minor actor until 1993. It would be hard for him to have a lead role since he didn't have name recognition in the 80's. Maybe as a TV movie?
