In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only Georgia. It is the 41st millenium, and the Govwernor of Georgia sits at the Golden Desk in Holy Atlanta, immobile for ten thousand centuries. His generals direct quadrillion men and millions of ships to distant battles beyond the stars, where they plant the Banner of the Peach Empire, representing everlasting freedom and glory on the shores of alien worlds.

This map represents the inner worlds of the Georgian Empire, circa 40,009.

Georgia-wank ? Meh. For a double troll, it must be an Alsace-Lorraine wank ! (Bigger than 2016 French region of Alsace-Champagne-Lorraine if possible)

Everyone knew one day the Soviets or Nazis would fight over some fool thing and destroy the world. Since the German invasion of France, three worlds were staring into the abyss, it only took a foolhardy fascist to set it all aflame.

But the real story focuses on the new world left behind: The Northern Hemisphere died in flames, but the fascism and militancy survived in colonies. Through violence and appropriation, The Italians and Japanese became the foremost cultures of the Indian Ocean, replacing the Chinese and Arabs from their traditional pedestals.

1000 years later, Nazi Germany is still there in some vestigial form; a small semi-democratic monarchy living in Northern Scotland.

But the true action lies in the Indian Ocean, as Italians and Japanese, along with the successor state to Bose's India and Apartheid South Africa, uncovering the long lost arts. Eugenics and it's ilk, are being challenged by thinkers and scientists, as is slavery. Human rights are being conceived and established.

The cultural soup of the Indian ocean has saved many cultures long lost elsewhere: Judaism, Roma, surviving Arabs, even Americans brought to Japanese settlements as slaves keep their traditions alive and well through the merchants. It's been a dark road, but history goes on and on, with or without morals.

An animated map detailing the campaigns leading to the rise of the Cai Dynasty of China (877-1125).

A man by the name of Ji Ming, a descendant of the Cai loyalists who migrated to Fujian after the rise of the Qin Dynasty organizes a rebellion against Tang rule in Fujian, while a simultaneous rebellion flares up in Guangdong.

Both rebellions experience initial success before being nearly crushed by the Tang army. Both armies flee northwards with Tang forces in pursuit.

The two armies meet in Xinyu and Ji declares himself King of Cai, claiming ancestry from the lords of the ancient state of Cai. The army then travels northwards, defeating a Tang army and taking Yueyang.

Discontent among the peasant farmers along the Yangtze flares into open rebellion, which coalesces behind Cai. Ji's army continues to grow and soon Tang forces are being defeated. A northward campaign to capture the ancestral homeland of Cai is successful, Ji inflicting a crushing defeat on a major Tang army led by Li Keyong. Li is killed in the Battle of Shangcai.

From there rebellions on the Yellow River also coalesce behind Cai, and a westwards campaign takes the Tang capital of Chang'an, forcing the Qianfu Emperor to flee. Ji establishes his capital at Zhengzhou, renaming it Zhongping (Central Peace), and declaring the foundation of the Great Cai Dynasty, taking the era name Yongdao (perpetual dao).

A southern campaign defeats Tang loyalist forces and brings the southern rebellions within Cai, a northern campaign defeats Tang forces in the north and a further campaign against the Khitans secures the northern border.

A campaign along the Gansu Corridor secures it from the Uighurs and wrests the Tarim Basin from the Tufans.

Animation ends with the death of Cai Taizu in 892

Nice scenario my friend! We need more Chinese scenario in this thread! Would you make a part two about the dynasty after Taizu?

The Second Great War ended with the death of McSweeney and the destruction of Unionist America. The Transatlantic Pact with France failed to interdict British forces from securing victory in Canada, and America could do little to prevent German victory on the European continent.

America's twin defeats at Nashville and Memphis combined with the capture of an army at Montreal started the beginning of the end of the Second Great War. Late Japanese entry and a surprise attack California all but ensured American defeat.

America did have its victories though. The Battles of Baja where American forces swept down the peninsula and locked the Confederate navy in Bay of Baja. General Morrel's campaign in the Canadian West stymied the British and prevented vital resources from reaching the Eastern front (to this day, he is remembered quite fondly as 'the Prairie Fox' throughout much of Canada). And American mountain divisions outfought their Confederate counterparts throughout the Appalachians until the bitter end of the war (and even beyond in the case of the zealous elite Union divisions).

Though many wanted to see the destruction and dissolution of the United States, the devastation across Europe and the Americas all but ensured the survival of the American state. Morrel had a strong position in the midwest, and the East coast was dug in and could only be taken with a heavy cost of both blood and supplies.

The assassination or suicide of McSweeney in his bunker (hidden in northen Indiana) meant that many of his Union Party loyalists entered a brief and frantic power struggle with the military that concluded with the military coming out on top and offering terms.

Though an insurgency seemed likely post war in the occupied territories the excesses and atrocities committed by McSweeney's America and the Union Party meant that many former Americans were keen to sever themselves from their former nation out of both shame and fear of repercussions from the occupying powers.

So, I've always liked tabletop RPGs. As such, for some strange reason I decided to map the world of Shadowrun in the year 2072. Basically its cyberpunk with fantasy elements and Earth went to hell in a hand basket several times. Some borders are wonky, but I swear they're what they are in Shadowrun. Some of them are very arbitrary lines, trust me, I know. The "uncolonized" land are zones of anarchy.

It is very appropriate that from this cradle of the Confederacy, this very heart of the great Anglo-Saxon Southland, that today we sound the drum for freedom as have our generations of forebears before us time and again down through history. Let us rise to the call for freedom-loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the tyranny that clanks its chains upon the South. In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.
