My entry for the current MoTF:

After the Normans attack the Fatimids, they go after Africa as well. What would become Tunisia was freed soon after, while a Norman dynasty held on to the region of Tripolitania. More history in the post below.

A Dane-wank and a Brit-Wank too... and a Portugal-wank and an Ethiopia-wank... And a Spain-wank...

*cough*space-filling empires*cough*

(Also, you do know that that Australian line has no meaning, yeah?)

Continuing with my map series, map of Europe in 1923, the end of the first phase of World War 2. A common sight of soldiers in the French Socialist Republic is seeing German soldiers on the border singing 'Die Wacht am Rhein' on holidays.

Yeah, generally.

No Russian protectorate in Abyssinia?
Ah Shit! I forgot. Damn, those colours are similar.

I'm liking the Scramble for China.
Yep, my mind only can scramble and screw Qing, or wank the shit out of them.

That Russia would be less stable than Ununoctium.
Duh, everyone is starting to consider turning on Russia already. Radical terrorists too.

France-Screw.
Jah, France shalt never be super Stronk.

Yep, Troops of the Kaiser just singing across the Rhine. I'm just waiting for Spartakusbund...

118ium could be called Ekaterinium. If they feel like it.
As Ekaterinburg is in Russia, it could be fun to say.
I saw somewhere that they'd named all elements 1-118 and are currently searching for 120. Unfortunately, the rest of the internet hasn't caught on, and I can't find the official name for it anywhere, so I just stuck with the old one. :p

Anyway, here's another railroad map I've been working on.

I only have one question: ITTL, who won the war in Italy in 1400, Milan or Florence (or were the Visconti butterflied away)?

Probably whoever won in OTL. I don't know much about that period of Italian history, so you'll have to tell me a bit more about it for me to give you a decisive answer.

I love this map; it shows that sometimes there aren't major consequences to changes, from a thousand years on.

Thank you! Also, I agree, I don't really think Tripolitania did much until colonization began. While there are a few butterflies in the 1650 map (notice the non-Ottoman Romania), most stuff doesn't happen until the 1800's and 1900's. :)

I love it! Few maps I've seen show the passing of time in a region that led to it's current form, and this one is quite pretty too.

Thank you, I tried really hard on this one! :D

That's really good! Interesting! What's Italy like in this world's 2015?

Still pretty divided, between the liberal North Italians and the conservative South Italians. Both are united in their dislike of the Papal States, which lasted until the 1980's until it became a near-autonomous province of North Italy. It's turning into a breeding ground of war, but both nations are very successful. Oh yeah, and Venice is still a major power, which is really cool. ;)

I'm liking the Scramble for China.

Did someone say "Scramble for China"? :p

From an idea of what if Napoleon accepted a British peace offer in 1805, and avoided the worst of the Napoleonic Wars?

I've posted some maps from this series before, but then revised them since.

This is approximately 1955, about a decade after the end of the World War that saw the making of a new world order, between Europe, China, and Britannia.

Note on the EU. Portugal in the only member state that is not integrating. Colonies of EU states retain the color of their original nation of administration, even if that nation is no longer independent, having been integrated into the EU. They are outlined in the color of the colony state, representing their satellite status. The exception to this is North Africa, which is a joint European colony, and is home to many European settlers.

still in development, advice welcome.

Kingdom of Sudurgardrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Entry for the Map of the Fortnight Contest. Hope you enjoy! This was a bit rushed so don't blame me for it looking below-par (is that even a saying? who knows)
Anyways: ZALEZSKY PRESENTS: VIKING CONQUEST OF THE STRANGEST KIND!
