Good work. I did notice that some stuff seemed to turn from unruled to a lake. Here's the border's I could tell from it. Actually, the spot where she adds the new pieces, changes slightly after the cut away.

And some questions for you -
Has Savoie/Sardinia considered a name change? Or does it still actively claim that Sardinia is only occupied territory?
How are things going in Turkey*/Iraq*?
What's Sri Lanka's relationship with India and the rest of the world like?
Why? I can see New England plus Maryland and a few other Northern stated seceding from the Union INSTEAD of the South, but both at once? No way, without bloody good reason. An alternate history which sees a confederate victory in the civil war, as well as new England becoming independent.
Full size map here.
Inspired by Martin23230's excellent map, The Commonwealth, I decided to try my hand at making a map set in the future of such a scenario. This will also be the first part of my mini-series focusing on the holidays/Christmas in various worlds, so expect extra detail on holidays. Now, I present to you all, The World Cromwell Made on December 25, 1955.
My effort to map the Earth Kingdom states shown in Korra. Couldn't get a clear map of the whole thing.
I'm really glad you liked it! I don't think it quite does the original map justice, but I don't think I did a terrible job, at least. And hey, a story about a royal alt-America in exile needed at least a little reference. That's amazing! I'm very flattered. I'm surprised no one else noticed Pendragon though, that would make an interesting crossover .
What is New England like? The East
Cool stuff

Besides that, interesting. Good stuff. Ruined by one thing, though: Africa, which as you have it is beyond ASB. Colonies which existed before the ACW such as Cabinda and Gambia are ignored; how did France win against 'the strongest' in Gambia, especially when they had ceded territory there a few years before the POD? How and why did Belgium take Cabinda, which was one of the most Portuguese parts of Angola? Moving on from that, almost every single border in your Africa is OTL and from past the POD; further, most of them existed for specific and very unlikely reasons, and more then a few were made up on the spot. Maybe I could see certain ones showing up in another TL, but the majority simply aren't going to happen- if you are really lazy enough to skip drawing your own, at least throw in some from the existing 1890 and 1910 maps for variety (Also notice how both of those don't even start to resemble your own and how both are radically different despite being 20 years appart...)
Are you going to continue work on the TL or has it stalled? Because I rather enjoyed it.
Been busy, but another map. Much smaller, though the entire world will come in the future.
POD was the survival of President Kennedy in 1963. After reelection, scandals concerning his extramarital affairs and possible Mafia connections turned the public's attention away from the Civil Rights Movement. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was not passed, Kennedy served out the remainder of his term, and many riots broke out. Segregationists blamed Malcolm X and Martin Luther King; the growing fear of many Americans led them to support the American Independence Party in 1968. The Wallace/LeMay ticket won, resulting in an aggressive administration that escalated Vietnam into nuclear war. The result is this.
A rump US exists in the northeast, minus Canadian-occupied Maine and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Centred in Philadelphia is the emergency military government set up by then-VP Curtis LeMay after the War. LeMay is still President in 1990, though he is elderly, sickly, and a pawn of a military junta.
The American Empire has emerged in the South, based in Montgomery. The American Independence (later Imperial) Party managed to create an expansionist, segregationist republic. The AE is run by a President and Congress. Its main ally is the Republic of Texas, and the two are expanding into the warlord territories (Dakota, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Montana) and unclaimed, unorganised regions like New Mexico and Colorado. The AE and Texas are widely recognised internationally.
Cascadia is relatively new, a liberal democracy supported by UN relief efforts and Canadian military support. California is an authoritarian republic with closed borders and a puppet state, the Free State of Las Vegas.
Mexico and Canada have closed their borders because of the huge numbers of US refugees over the years; Cuba is a nuclear wasteland; and the American territories in the Caribbean (just out of view) are under British administration.
I like it. How is Europe? And Asia?
Life in Europe goes on as normal. West and East Germany have united, most communist governments have undergone reforms, and there is a single European Community that promotes trade between the continent. The UK is also the world's rising star.
Asia is also generally untouched, with the exception of China. The Republic of China has expanded to the mainland, but the People's Republic stubbornly remains alive despite the nuclear bombing of Beijing. South Korea annexed the North. And Japan never suffered an economic crash.
Hows the USSR? is Nato still around? Brits in charge I suppose or someone else?
The USSR survives, but a few republics have become independent. And warlords have risen up within its borders. NATO exists, and yes, the Brits are in charge.
Thanks.Hope you don't mind, but I decided to take a crack at filling in the rest. Seeing as the various views of the map we have are contradictory I decided the best thing was to do a give and take with them and came out with this:
*Swoons and falls over* I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'd be interested to see a full map, and if at all possible, I'd recommend a timeline (Mostly on account of the fact that its em...a rather unique take on Kennedy surviving, to say the least)
