Hm, pretty much what I figured would most likely happen, as far as the war against the USSR is concerned. Are the Czechs considering an alliance of convenience with the Soviets if they reach Czech borders to regain the Sudetenland?
Most definitely. The Italians are also starting to wonder if that might be where the bread is buttered.

Here's a larger version of a map I posted earlier. It's 1825.

I should explain. I played a EUIII game and decided after a while I'd try to fix the worst parts of what was a typically hideous map by the end of the game and make a tl of it. That's more or less how South America turned out.

In your game, Malaya, Sumatra and Borneo were under one empire....why did you change it to British land?

Well admittedly my knowledge of Indonesia is lacking. I don't know how advanced of a society it was before colonialism but it doesn't strike me as the kind of place where a giant empire spanning several islands and able to resist European settlement well into the 19th century would develop. India can do that no problem so that's why I kept it as is. I could be totally wrong though.

As for Alaska. I hide behind the logic that ugly straight line colonial borders are very much a plausible thing, especially in the west of North America.

It could depending on the POD...and EU3 having 1399 is well before European hegemony is established, let alone guaranteed. Said Indonesian state could be just as strong or even stronger than Britain, depending on the circumstances.

I mean, look at Japan in OTL... Resourceless collection of feudal states which at times refused connection with the outside world completely modernized, so far as to have a fighting chance against countries as developed as Australia and even the USA. Imagine if it had been China or some other state instead; they might even have nabbed a colony or two.

Japan nabbed colonies, what do you call Taiwan and Korea?

Reposting; the world just before WWIII (2061-68). I plan to make Africa the secondary front; any suggestions? (I plan for Egypt to be a key Chinese ally thanks to the Port of Sudan).
Under this scenario, wouldn't Russia and India become allies out of necessity? Maybe throw in Japan and the US into that alliance?

Reverse Nations World
