Identify the Colored Nations.

Bright lime green is the Republic of China, Navy Blue is Free France, exiled to Africa. France proper is communist, and Germany is full of non-commies (Probably not Nazis- read my Argentina comment). The UK seems to just ignore the business on the Continent, and is going on it's doings regardless. Africa has conglomerated together into several 'United Democractic Republics of Ethnicites That Don't Really Like Each Other Too Much', and the Nazis have fled to Argentina and have attempt to create a South American Reich.

Red: Generic Socialist Empire and satellites/allies

Dark Blue: Caliphate of West Africa
White-bordered Tan: Damascus Pact. Secular states in opposition to politicised Islamism and socialism, (clearly isn't Islamist, due to the fact that independent Palestine is not a member, and the increased, stable sizes of Syria and Iran imply that ethno-religious minorities are placated)

Dark Reds: Bharat and the Peoples' Republic of China, relatively liberal social democracies.
Light Green: Republic of China, Sino-fascist rogue state
Dark Green: Empire of Japan

Cream: Here be Dragons.

Gray is always neutral. Pink is probably socialdemocratic or other socialists. Red is "pure communism". Brown is fascist countries. Dark blue West Africa is either Free France or a West African Union. Orange is either a pact or teocratic (muslim) countries. The obvious is of course USA, Canada, Brazil, UK, Australia-Oceania, Germany and Japan. The green dots outside China are probably some democratic and free China. The green in South America could be Hugo Chavez dream come true, but he would probably be butterflied away.

Now for some odd things. If China is fascist why have they left out "Free China"? Are the muslims and hindus in peace in the fascist United India? Independent Kurdistan how is that possible? What happened to the diversed West African coast? Is it a single, united country? Well, at least Katanga is independent.

i'll give one thing away.... the red the USSR and Communist nations that look toward it for leadership.... the "brown" is a dark red that represents non-alligned Communist nations.

while I will admit there may be some implausibilities, my POD is that in 1920 Joseph Stalin is killed while doing his duty as a Commissar during the Polish-Soviet War.
