Arrival of Miguel Lopez de Legaspi
A chief of Bohol named Catunao would guide Miguel Lopez de Legazpi as a guide to Cebu and he would anchor in Cebu but he would not land due to opposition with the natives and he would be able to ally with the natives of Samar and Bohol and making blood compacts with their chieftains.
Rajah Tupas would challenge the Spanish but he would be overpowered and the Spanish would establish settlements in Cebu.
In 1568, the Portuguese would attempt a blockade of Cebu which would result in a Portuguese withdrawal.
In 1569, due to scarcity of food provisions in Cebu, the Spanish would go to Panay and founded a settlement called as Capiz and the city of Salcedo.
Salcedo would destroy the forts in the islands of Lubang and illin.
Upon the arrival of the Spanish, Lakandula and Sulayman would make peace and make friends with the Spanish but the muslim establishment in Selurong or the lands of the Tagalogs would be against him as he is from another religion and would have learned what the Portuguese had did to other Malayan lands which would have make them hostile to the Spanish as are other Malay Sultanates are.
Note
The difference from the OTL and this timeline is that the population of Luzon converts to Islam enmasse and is not only concentrated in the nobility and Islam is also organized and the Bruneian Bolkiahs of Luzon has went native already and Luzon has already accepted and recovered the loss of Majapahit and the sack of Tondo and formally accepted the local Bolkiahs as their own rulers.
