The Ambitious Princess
Adelaide and her mother in 1141, would resist the suitors that wanted her and for her claims including of that of the County of Hainault who wanted to unite the succession with his son, she had better ambitions, and she wanted a groom who is worthy of her heritage both as Countess of Flanders and as the rightful Queen of Denmark.

On 1146, she would enter a marriage with the son of the Dowager Empress Matilda and Geoffrey, Count of Anjou, Henry of Anjou, the marriage would be tolerated by Louis VII since both him and his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine did not see anything wrong about this marriage at that time.

Adelaide, Countess of Flanders is pretty compared to Eleanor of Aquitaine and she would have fairer features than Eleanor that Henry had completely changed his mind about Eleanor of Aquitaine completely and did not want to marry her anymore after he met her.

In the French court
Adelaide, Countess of Flanders would witness the birth of twin children to Eleanor of Aquitaine in 1150 who are baptized Eleanor and Philip in 1150 and the death of Eleanor of Aquitaine due to puerperal fever and she was a witness of the marriage between Marie of England and Louis VII, which means that she would need to have a strategy to win against the Capets and the Blesvins and gain England, however Marie would have a single daughter with Louis VII named Ida of France in 1153 before she would die and her husband remarry to Constance of Castile in 1154, Adelaide would share to her husband what she had learned in the French court and she would tell what has happened to Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Adelaide would see that Louis would send regents with his son in Aquitaine until he reached the age of majority and she would interested in the developments in the French court as it would help her husband take the crown of England.

Arrival of Adelaide, Countess of Flanders
On 1154, Adelaide, Countess of Flanders with her two daughters Margaret(1148) and Ingeborg(1151) would arrive in England after the victory, they had a stillborn son in 1153 but she is still positive that she will give birth to the son needed by her husband and she would as she would give birth to a son named Henry in 1155, after her son’s Henry’s birth and she would try to convince her husband to claim Denmark for her but he said that would wait as they would want to secure French support against their enemies, in this point she started to style herself as Queen regnant of Denmark inspired by her mother in law, Matilda.

Henry II and Adelaide, Countess of Flanders are crowned as King and Queen of England uniting the County of Flanders and the Counties of Anjou, Maine, and Touraine with England and Normandy as part of the Continental Possessions of the English King which would alert the French King, Louis VII but it would help his son switch the Focus southwards.

On 1155, a marrriage between Geoffrey, the younger brother of Henry II of England with Marie of France is made with the granting of the county of Anjou, Maine, and Touraine to Geoffrey which would establish relationship between France and the Plantagnets in the North via Marie of France.

Just wondering how she was able to claim Flanders when you had other claimants like Thierry of Alsace who’s claim led to the death of William Clito, while having the support of Pairs of Flanders like the lords or Dendermonde and Aalst and King Henry of England.
Or Baldwin of Hainaut or even William of Ypres who had the support of dowager countess Clementia

I edited it as she is recognized as the heiress to Flanders, I think Clito being given the County of Flanders and her as a female claimant would be unfeasible and I think it is better if she had it from the start.

She is a better version of Laurette of Flanders, basically Laurette of Flanders with a different father.
