King Philip's War WI

So, for those of you who know about this Indian war, it's old news. The loose confederation of Wampanoags, Nipmucks, Narragansetts, and smaller tribes revolting against the Puritanical rule of the English settlers in the years 1675 and 1676. In 1676, Metacom, also known as King Philip to the English, was killed by a christianized native fighting with the English. Now, what if, instead of focusing attacks on smaller settlements earlier on in the war, Metacom decides to focus his attacks on the larger settlements: New Haven, Boston, Plymouth, Newport, Hartford, and some of the smaller settlements. If all of the cities listed above, that weren't sacked as in OTL's war, ended up being sacked and burned by the marauding native tribes, how would the English respond to this? Would the war expand and consume Pennsylvania, New York, and perhaps even Virginia? Or, would it be isolated to New England. To add to it, what if Metacom is able to secure the alliance with the Mohawk nation?

the indians would lose as OTL but the war would be longer and bloodier than OTL. Expect the english/british to not be protective of the indians like how they werei n OTL. No proclamation of 1763 in this TL since they'll WANT the indians to be out of british land. A more expansionistic british presence in north america could mean they get more out of the french/spanish at the end of the 7 years war. Stuff like louisiana, the carribean stuff like that.

I don't know, the British didn't really care about New England much at this time and this probably wouldn't affect their opinions that much. However there might be (even) more anti-Indianism in the colonies.
