Is there any way that Adams could have beaten Jefferson in the 1800 US election?
I am looking a creating a TL in which the 1812 war didn't happen and as far as I can see this means keeping the US fedralist, as the republicans all wanted America's manifest destany to include Canada and that meant war with UK.
