John Pershing in in 1920.

After researching about Pershing I was wondering what a Presidency under him would like. With the POD 1919, make Pershing win the 1920 elections. You can have any other Republican his VP. To keep things simple, lets say he wins in 1924, but falls victim to the Zero-Year Factor in 1926 or 1927. What also happens after his death?

Pershing would have had to resign his commission just like Eisenhower did.
Pershing, like Eisenhower, was a general of the army. He'd have to overcome
the isolationism that overtook the country after the Great War.

Isolationism does not mean that they wouldn't elect the man who was America's greatest living Hero...

Why would he have to overcome it? He's most likely not going to run as an internationalist, especially as a Republican.

This is an alternate history site. Isn't it? Once elected, Pershing would see the
writing on the wall. If Hitler, or Anton Drexler, comes to power, then it's clear
that there'd be another war. Right?

We're talking Pershing in the 1920 election, at the latest he's done by the start of 1929. Unless you want the Beer Hall Putch to work and somehow take over the Entire Country Adolf isnt coming to power any time in the Pershing Administration.

As for it being Clear, it wasn't to most of the West until after Czechoslovakia so... no. Remember hindsight is 20/20.
