It's hard to say. Since France was the first of those states to get rid of their monarch, the pod would have to be in the latter half of the 18th centuary. Which would result in a butterfly effect.were still monarchies who would be the current rulling monarch in each country???

Right:I probably misphrased the question. It would have been better to say "Who is is the current "claimant" to each former European monarchy"?
Well, yes, Grey, but OTOH, dynastic laws are not worth anything anymore, because monarchies nowadays are constitutional. Nobody cares anymore if a monarch or heir marries a non-noble, the concept of morganatic marriages doesnt exist anymore. Nowadays, who may or may not sit on the throne is decided not by such laws, but by the respective government or parliament. And those governments or parliaments would notexclude claimants because of wrong marriages or soemsuch, so we can safely ignore that.
Of course, that is operating under the assumption of monarchy being restored everywhere, miracously. With monarchy simply never being abolished, the butterfly effect would indeed create totally different persons.
Oh sorry, I didn't realise it was about what if they were restored, but thought it was about what if they had never been deposed !

Yeah, well, its not been made entirely clear. The thread title and Op talk about the latter, but Detritus second post kind of clarified the former.
And really, if we couldnt create alternate dynastical lines for ourselves, what would be the fun in pre-monarchy abolishment PoDs?
