Hitler's rise to power delayed

I've seen a lot of scenarios about attempts to delay WW2, none of which work because of the Nazis batshit economic policies (and to a lesser extent Stalin's purges) but what about delaying the Nazi rise to power until the next German election?

Doable? Plausible? What say you?

Still ASB

The election results of the 1932 general elections, only 3 years after the Great Depression was the key to getting the Nazi Party to rise to the largest party in the Reichstag, showed their waning popularity.

Delaying Hitlers appointment to the next, 1935 general election result would have meant no appointment as popular support for Nazi dogma would have collapsed by then.

No, then no Nazis in power; they had one shot and they got it. If they don't win in 1932 the economy starts to improve enough that the moment passes and extremism recedes. And what next election, March 1933? Who gets in power in the meantime? The entire reason Hitler was appointed was that the Nazis had spent all their money and were about to get wiped out in the next election as a result, the Communists were going to do a lot better, and the establishment in power had lost all public legitimacy. Effectively they had gotten to the point that the governing group needed to appoint Hitler or face a Nazi uprising, because the Nazis understood that was their last chance.

When is the next election? Five mins after the last one?
Elections were being held after a very short time as part of the system of Presidential Government.
The first thing that Hitler wanted after becomming Chancellor was a Reichstag fir.. Er election.

Early 1933 was very likely now-or-never for Hitler, because the November 1932 Reichstag election had shown the NSDAP was already past its electoral peak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_federal_election,_November_1932 and the German economy was beginning to recover: "A recent study finds that Hitler's regime had little to do with the initial stages of recovery, which were already well under way when he took office." The reason that the Nazis were running out of money was the pressure of fighting and winning, so many elections.
