Hillary Orbits Venus

So, with Hillary Clinton having rapped up the nomination, I decided to think back to one of my favorite AH short stories, "Hillary Orbits Venus." by Pamela Sargent. For those who don't know....
The story speculates on a letter that young Hillary Rodham sent to NASA in the 60's. OTL, she is informed that women aren't being considered for astronaut positions. In the story, she gets a more encouraging letter, stating that women astronauts were very possible in the future. This inspires Hillary to pursue biochemistry in the hopes of becoming an astronaut. She goes to Caltech, and meets Richard Feynman,(after his third marriage ends) whom she marries. Chelsea is still born, but as Feynman's daughter. She eventually is chosen to be an astronaut, and goes on a mission to Venus, with Judith Resnik, and two fictional female astronauts.

The reason there is a mission to Venus in the late 90's, is because Humphrey becomes president, and expands the program. His policies are followed by Presidents Bob Dole, John Glenn, and Republican Bill Clinton, who is married to actress Mary Steenburgen

So, for those who haven't read it, does it sound interesting? To those who have read it, what do you think of it?
