I wonder, @Geekhis Khan, was there ever anything said about the cast of ITTL!Black Cauldron?

I was just wondering because I can imagine Gurgi ITTL voiced by Frank Oz, principally because (from that art) he probably looked like Animal and talked like Animal...

I don't believe that I ever spelled it out. But Oz as Gurgi makes sense, though not as Animal. Gurgi is more talkative. Perhaps Howie Mandel.

Actually, to add on to this, the three main franchises I'd like to see complete in the Hensonverse are the DC Universe movies, the Universal Monster movies and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Considering what WB CEO David Zaslav is in the news for again, I link to think in the Hensonverse at best he never really rides to prominence at Discovery/is shown the door early on when he triesd to pull any of his crap.

He was at NBC first (in 1989, IRRC) and he probably didn't get far there post-Disney merger, Discovery's part-owned by ABC... so he's not his own boss there ITTL and of course at Warner, he wouldn't last three seconds before Katzenberg knocked him off all the pegs.

Basically, ITTL, he would have much less potential for advancement at a lot of places.
