Has anyone ever played Harpoon?

It is a naval combat simulator. (Used by Tom Clancy for some of his books.) I wanted to know if anyone on this forum has used it?

Harpoon, in its day, was THE naval simulator. Larry Bond, who wrote the original game scenarios, co-wrote Red Storm Rising with Clancy.

I loved the stupid game back in the '80's. Wasted WAY too much time playing it. Harpoon II , the follow up, was a disappointment, at least to me.

I guess I know what my next credit card purchase is going to be!
