Gloria Española(Spanish Wank)

Divided Luzon
On 1570 the Spanish would be opposed by the Selurong Sultanate, despite the fact that Lakandula and Sulayman are welcoming to the Spanish, the Muslims in Luzon or Selurong led by the Selurong Sultanate would oppose the Spanish forcing them to settle just in Manila and Tondo which was given by Sulayman and Lakandula, which would cause Legaspi to go further north where there were still pagans and converted the Kingdom of Caboloan which had an issue with the pirates in the North such as Limahong who the Spanish and Caboloan are fighting with and the Spanish were able to gain an ally in Caboloan[1] and the Kingdom of Caboloan would agree to convert to Christianity in exchange of conversion and bowing down to the Spanish and the Spanish would expand on the Northwest Coast of Luzon until they were stopped by the Muslims which are ruled by the Selurong Sultanate in the coasts of Cagayan whose inhabitants are Muslims.

The Spanish would convert the Ilocanos due to their tension with the rest of the Muslim inhabitants of Luzon hating them and the fact that the Muslim elite starting to go native are starting to favor their enemy tribes who hated them who are also Muslim.

The areas converted by the Spanish in Selurong or Luzon would be called as Nueva Castilla which would be ruled under the Philippines or Filipinas by the Spanish which is a part of the Spanish East Indies which would contrast with the Sultanate of Selurong, Legaspi would end up being buried in Intramuros which is a Spanish settlement in Selurong which would be destroyed when the Bruneians and Tagalogs[2] would destroy the Spanish settlements in Manila Bay.

The Spanish war with Brunei and Selurong in 1579 would wipe out the settlements of the Spanish in Manila Bay and the Spanish victory against Caboloan and the Sultanate of Selurong in the 1587-1588 due to the alliance of the King of Caboloan with the Selurong Sultan (via a marriage of a relative of the Sultan of Selurong) and Kasikis which would result in the death of Kasikis and the exile of his men to Mexico and the dissolution of the Kingdom of Caboloan and the incorporation of its territory to Spain and the establishment of Vigan as the Spanish Capital of Nueva Castilla.

The Tagalog Muslim State would benefit the Spanish as they would help reinforce the Spanish rule in Northwestern Luzon unintentionally.

Note
The difference from the OTL and this timeline is that the population of Luzon converts to Islam en masse and is not only concentrated in the nobility and Islam is also organized.

1. Caboloan is not Muslim but it has Muslim population and it does not like Muslims and Pirates invading their country.
2. Demonym of the people of the Sultanate of Selurong.

Signal back to Philip II
King Philip II of Spain would hear more about the colony of the Philippines in the conquest letters of Legaspi he would hear that the Spanish would secure Northwest of Luzon as part of their own territory and they would not lose the island completely from the Sultanate of Selurong and its Bruneian allies, Northwest of Luzon which the Spanish would keep and he would hear that the Sultanate of Selurong being one of the ferocious and strong Sultanates, he would also hear that the People of Nueva Castilla actually are threatened by the Sultanate of Selurong.

Philip II would hear about the ferocious and strong Muslim Sultanate in the North and the New Spanish colony in its Northwest named Nueva Castilla which is filled with riches which he would use to increase the gold traded to the Chinese and the gold that would be used to fund Spain and the Catholics in Holy Roman Empire against the Protestants and the French.

The Spanish gold from Nueva Castilla
The Spanish would exploit the gold in the Cordilleras in Nueva Castilla in Filipinas as the opposition are Moro heathens in the East and the South of Nueva Castilla who are the enemies of the people of Nueva Castilla and they would use it to compliment the American Gold that the Spanish trade with China and use in their wars and they would deplete the gold reserves of their Nueva Castilla colony in the Cordilleras, sometimes the gold from Nueva Castilla was used to create Churches and Buildings in the Spanish possessions in Europe, Nueva Castilla would fall under Spanish influence while the Sultanate of Selurong would fall under Dutch influence which would tie it to the Dutch East Indies.

The Muslims from Selurong would try and try again support rebels who would sever Nueva Castilla and annex it to the Muslim land and all of that would fail until in 1898 when Selurong with the support of the Dutch has annexed Nueva Castilla which is a failure in the long term as they would lose it in 1945.

Philip II’s death
Philip II would die happily on 1598, hearing that there is more gold in the Empire in the East near China and that would facilitate between Spain the two realms of the Orient, which is Japan and China and would augment the trade of Spain with these two realms, however after his death the relations of Spain with its own colonies in the East would be in jeopardy due to the Dutch, especially their alliance with the Selurong Sultanate in the North although the Southern Sultanates would have more animosity with the Dutch but due to the surplus gold in the Cordilleras, Philip II of Spain would die happily.

The two Sultanates in the South would at times have a better situation and relations with the Spanish compared with the Sultanate in the North which has a stable and good relations with the Dutch, the Cordilleran gold of Nueva Castilla would be used by the Spanish to fund their wars and trade with China and the external supplies of gold in Nueva Castilla would be mostly depleted by the 19th century.

The end of the Kirishitans and the colonization of Formosa
The Spanish would later stop their mass conversions and missions in Japan in the beginning of the 17th century and the Japanese Christians would either flee to their newly found settlement in the North of Formosa or in Nueva Castilla, the end of the mass conversions and missions in general would make the relations between Spain and the Japanese much more better but the Spanish would have a competitor in the Dutch who would want to have relations with the Japanese.

The formal Spanish colonization of Formosa which started in the areas settled by the Kirishitan from Japan would cause friction between the Spanish and the Dutch who are already in war due to religion because the Dutch have their own colonies in Formosa.

80 years war
The Eighty Years' War or Dutch Revolt (Dutch: Nederlandse Opstand) (c. 1566/1568–1648) was an armed conflict in the Habsburg Netherlands[note 4] between disparate groups of rebels and the Spanish government. The causes of the war included the Reformation, centralisation, taxation, and the rights and privileges of the nobility and cities.

After the initial stages, Philip II of Spain, the sovereign of the Netherlands, deployed his armies and regained control over most of the rebel-held territories. However, widespread mutinies in the Spanish army caused a general uprising. Under the leadership of the exiled William the Silent, the Catholic and Protestant-dominated provinces sought to establish religious peace while jointly opposing the king's regime with the Pacification of Ghent, but the general rebellion failed to sustain itself.

Despite Governor of Spanish Netherlands and General for Spain, the Duke of Parma's steady military and diplomatic successes, the Union of Utrecht continued their resistance, proclaiming their independence through the 1581 Act of Abjuration, and establishing the Protestant-dominated Dutch Republic in 1588. In the Ten Years thereafter, the Republic (whose heartland was no longer threatened) made conquests in the north and east and received diplomatic recognition from France and England in 1596. The Dutch colonial empire emerged, which began with Dutch attacks on Portugal's overseas territories.

Facing a stalemate, the two sides agreed to a Twelve Years' Truce in 1609; when it expired in 1621, fighting resumed as part of the broader Thirty Years' War. An end was reached in 1648 with the Peace of Münster (a treaty part of the Peace of Westphalia), when Spain retained Southern Netherlands and recognised the Dutch Republic as an independent country.

Note

The British will not have Sabah, and Sarawak in this timeline as they are Dutch in this timeline but they do have an alliance/protectorate treaty with Malaya and still colonize India and Australia in this timeline.

Freed Slaves settled in the East and Liberia
On 1816, the Sultanate of Selurong and Sultanate of Brunei would open their doors to the Free Blacks in United States who wanted to leave the United States aside from the people who wanted to be back in Africa, helping reduce the number of blacks in the United States, it was said that Liberia and the Two South East Asian Sultanates would help reduce the number of blacks to a miniscule population and the United States would be a predominantly white country with a tiny black minority for a time until black migration from Caribbean and African countries would happen.

The Free blacks that migrated to the Sultanates would have a trace in the DNA of the population of the Sultanates of Selurong and the Sultanate of Brunei.

Note: I decided to put this in because I read that there was a plan to put Free Blacks in the Philippines in the history text book I had back in the day.

How is losing to an unorganized country from some random place, a Spanish wank?
Because Spain has slightly more gold ITTL they can boast and does not lose colonies to the Americans as the Americans would not take interest in their colonies ITTL.
